Two men, one vision
Founded in 2018, Dénériaz grew from the meeting of two men: Antoine Dénériaz, downhill gold medallist at the 2006 Turin Olympic Games, and Alain Zanco, a ski engineer for almost forty years. Their alliance gave rise to a house where timeless design meets exceptional craftsmanship, created for those who seek pure sensations, comfort and exclusivity.

A 100% French manufacture
In the heart of the Savoie region, between Lake Annecy and the Tournette and Sambuy massifs, our manufacture preserves wholly French craftsmanship. Noble materials become exceptional skis: from moulds designed and machined in-house to carefully varnished finishes and the cutting of wood for the cores, every stage takes place in our workshop and most are completed by hand. Three fundamental values guide every creation: authenticity through local commitment and selected partners; the exacting standards of an Olympic champion for whom every detail matters; and the elegance of a restrained, timeless design whose signature is revealed in the purity of its lines.
Materials and precision
An exclusive architecture
Wood, an exceptional natural composite, forms the heart of our skis. Every species is selected for its mechanical properties, comfort and beauty. The exclusive character of Dénériaz skis lies in their architecture. Two side rails surround the balsa core; twelve operations are required to shape these key pieces above the edges. Like the hulls of a catamaran, they ensure precision, stability and outstanding handling. Balsa, ash, walnut, acacia and bamboo are combined with glass, basalt, Kevlar or carbon fibres. These combinations refine and elevate the ski’s behaviour on snow.
